HOMEWORK POLICY Homework is always an extension of the topics we have learned in class. Your child should have the homework for each day written down in their agendas. Please look at the homework to make sure it has been completed by your child and initial the agenda each night. Homework is given from Monday to Thursday! Please also practice your multiplication and division facts!

Math NC.5.NBT.1 I can explain the patterns in the place value system from one million to the thousandths place. I can explain that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left NC.5.MD.2 I can represent and interpret data. I can collect data by asking a question that yields data that changes over time.I can make and interpret a representation of data using a line graph. I can determine whether a survey question will yield categorical or numerical data, or data that changes over time.
ELA/Reading I can plan and write a first person narrative text. I can revise my narrative writing to slow down time when something interesting and relevant to the plot is happening.
